End of year sign-off
I’d like to wish our Pilates pals a very Merry Summer.
2025 has been a huge year for our studio, while reflecting last night after some very special sessions with clients I realised just how much growth and progress our bijoux clientele has enjoyed this year while training at the studio. Without question I could come up with a list of progress items for every client, while this is extraordinary, it’s not uncommon for our clients to soar.
I have seen so many clients dig down and focus on their work … sure, we gab, we chat, I tell people to ‘shhhhhhhh’ …. but to see L-sits become ‘comfortable’, spinal control increase, shoulders become liberated, toes activate, Snake/Twist become accessible … what a Christmas gift! More than that of course, I can see people listen, consider and apply themselves… yes, even amongst the eye-rolls. You keep me on my toes and I have to be one step ahead of you … and that’s why I’m thrilled to add new services in 2026, pathways to continue to promote mastery, independence and comfort in your skin.
We have been lucky to have the support of your coaches, Frankie, Vanessa and Chris during this year and I’d like to thank each of them for their efforts, attention to detail and care of you. We wish Frankie the very best now that she has re-settled in Castlemaine and look forward to her next visit. We know that Vanessa and her family will have a wonderful time visiting New Zealand over the summer holidays and particular enjoyed summer solstice classes last night! We thank Chris for his attention to detail while managing full-time study as part of his Masters of Clinical Physiology and taking care of our studio plants as well.
From my account, the year has been enormous… we have settled in at Rosslyn Street, dealt with a myriad of changes in the neighbourhood and you have allowed me the time and space to complete the majority of my Masters degree while reducing my teaching hours at the studio. I am now in the process of dreaming up more new services and possibility to lead you into the next stage of life with clinical exercise programmes and to also offer care for those living with serious health conditions. Of course next year will be just as challenging, managing university placements our industry-facing programmes and also bringing in new clients to our community.
I say with absolute love and pride, it is rarely a chore to show up for our clients. Whether we watch the same tv shows or forgive me, discuss sport at the studio… I will continue to act in your best interest and lead you to the absolute zenith of Pilates glory and joy in your bodies.
Thank you for walking together in 2025, here’s to a beautiful summer.
Nicholas
