Where do I start?

We require an initial consultation and in-studio assessment because your body deserves more than guesswork. By understanding your intended outcomes, history, movement patterns and collection of objective measures from the outset, we can place you in the right programme, ensure your long-term progress and deliver training that delivers real, lasting results.

During these sessions we will determine if our new client courses are the best option for you, or additional private sessions to prepare you for our clinical exercise programme is a better fit.. Your long-term health is our priority and as we have a clear curriculum to cover in the new client courses, you will need to meet a particular physical criteria so that the course-work is safe and effective for you.

To participate in the new client course programme you will need to ….

  • Be free from acute and chronic injuries

  • Be able to exercise on a moving surface and change positions quickly and frequently

  • Lift head off of mat without hands or support

  • Kneel and bear weight on wrists and knees and hold a plank for at least 10seconds

  • Move limbs and spine to full range without discomfort
    Additional considerations

  • Have medical and studio clearance for chronic health conditions

  • We ask pregnant clients to switch to private and clinical exercise programmes

  • Osteoporosis / Osteopenia require additional discussion with Studio Director

If one or more items on this list aren’t possible, we welcome you into our clinical exercise programme where we will develop your body and mind holistically towards best health for up to six months before embarking on semi-autonomous training if and when appropriate. Let us demonstrate the therapeutic intersection of Classical Pilates and Exercise Science.

In any case, your body requires particular attention to feel better and to perform well and we are here to help.
